AN ACT EXEMPTING HOSPITALS THAT QUALIFY FOR THE SMALL HOSPITAL POOL FROM THE HOSPITAL TAX.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 211a of the general statutes be amended to exempt hospitals that qualify for the Small Hospital Pool from the hospital tax.
Statement of Purpose:
To protect small community hospitals by exempting them from the hospital tax.
