AN ACT REQUIRING HEALTH INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR BREAST PUMPS AND PROTECTIONS AFFORDED TO WOMEN BREASTFEEDING IN PLACES OF EMPLOYMENT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to (1) incorporate provisions of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, P.L. 111-148, as amended from time to time, requiring health insurance coverage for breast pumps, and (2) improve protections afforded to women breastfeeding in places of employment.
Statement of Purpose:
To incorporate into the general statutes provisions of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act requiring health insurance coverage for breast pumps and improve protections afforded to women breastfeeding in places of employment.
