AN ACT CONCERNING FUNDING FOR SEXUAL ASSAULT AND DOMESTIC VIOLENCE PROGRAMS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to increase the marriage license fee to fifty dollars, and to provide that the amount of the increase be diverted to fund sexual assault and domestic violence programs.
Statement of Purpose:
To increase funding for sexual assault and domestic violence programs.
