AN ACT CONCERNING THE STATUTE OF LIMITATIONS FOR SEXUAL ABUSE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 54 of the general statutes be amended to eliminate the limitations period for prosecuting crimes of sexual abuse against children and adults.
Statement of Purpose:
To offer justice to child and adult victims of sexual abuse by extending the time for victims to come forward.
