AN ACT CONCERNING STATE PENSION PAYOUTS BASED ON RETIREE AGE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit the Connecticut State Employees Retirement Commission from adopting actuarial option tables based on age that result in reduced pension payouts for married employees who retire over the age of seventy unless such tables have been approved in collective bargaining.
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit reduced state employee pension payouts based on age unless approved in collective bargaining.
