AN ACT APPROPRIATING FUNDS TO THE BRISTOL BUSINESS EDUCATION FOUNDATION FOR ADULT EDUCATION AND WORKFORCE TRAINING FOR VETERANS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the sum of one hundred fifty thousand dollars be appropriated to the Department of Economic and Community Development, from the General Fund, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2018, for a grant to the Bristol Business Education Foundation for Adult Diploma and Certificate program for adult education and workforce training, provided such grant funds are used with a preference for veterans.

Statement of Purpose: 

To provide funding to the Bristol Business Education Foundation for job training programs for veterans.
