AN ACT CONCERNING THE POWERS OF PARKING AUTHORITIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 7-204 of the general statutes be amended to permit parking authorities to bid on and manage parking and transit facilities outside of their founding municipality.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide for multi-modal, local transportation planning across municipal lines while encouraging competitive bids to select the best local operators.
