AN ACT REQUIRING MUNICIPAL APPROVAL OF PURCHASES OF DEVELOPABLE LAND FOR OPEN SPACE BY THE STATE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require that upon the state's purchase of developable land for open space in a municipality without the approval or authorization of such municipality, the state shall transfer to the municipality another developable property owned by the state and held as open space in such municipality.
Statement of Purpose:
To require municipal approval of purchases of developable land for open space by the state.
