2424 AN ACT CONCERNING THE EXCLUSION OF STUDENT PERFORMANCE DATA ON THE MASTERY EXAMINATION FROM TEACHER EVALUATIONS.

2626 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

2828 That section 10-151b of the general statutes be amended to prohibit the use of student performance data on mastery examinations, conducted pursuant to section 10-14n of the general statutes, among the multiple indicators of student academic growth for purposes of teacher performance evaluations and to require the State Board of Education to revise the guidelines for a model teacher evaluation and support program in a manner that provides for effective evaluations that do not rely on such student performance data.
