AN ACT CONCERNING THE SCHOOL BUILDING PROJECTS AT GALLUP HILL SCHOOL AND LEDYARD MIDDLE SCHOOL IN LEDYARD.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 262 of public act 16-4 of the May special session be amended to require that the extension and alteration and roof replacement projects at Gallup Hill School (Project Number 072-0091 EA/RR) and Ledyard Middle School (Project Number 072-0090 EA/RR) in Ledyard appear on the list of eligible school building projects submitted on or before December 15, 2016, and be considered by the General Assembly in the 2017 regular legislative session.
Statement of Purpose:
To ensure that the shovel-ready school construction projects at Gallup Hill and Ledyard Middle School in Ledyard are included in the 2017 school construction bill.
