AN ACT CONCERNING STUDENT OPPORTUNITIES AND ACHIEVEMENT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 10 of the general statutes be amended to (1) expand access to high-quality preschool, (2) establish full-day kindergarten opportunities, and (3) establish tutoring opportunities and other strategies to ensure literacy and numeracy proficiency by the end of grade three.
Statement of Purpose:
To make a series of reforms in the Connecticut public school system.
