LOONEY, 11th Dist. REP. CANDELARIA, 95th Dist. REP. PORTER, 94th Dist. REP. PAOLILLO, 97th Dist. REP. REYES, 75th Dist. AN ACT APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR REGIONAL ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT DISTRICTS. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That the sum of four million five hundred thousand dollars be appropriated to the Department of Economic and Community Development, from the General Fund, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2018, to make a five hundred thousand dollar grant to each of the nine regional economic development districts, established pursuant to section 32-741 of the general statutes, to be used for strategic planning and the promotion of job growth. Statement of Purpose: To invest in job growth and strategic economic planning across the state on a coordinated, regional level.
