AN ACT EXEMPTING CERTAIN COMMERCIAL MOTOR VEHICLES FROM THE LUXURY TAX.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That sections 12-408 and 12-411 of the general statutes be amended to exempt from the seven and three-fourths per cent sales and use taxes commercial motor vehicles used by small businesses exclusively for business purposes.
Statement of Purpose:
To exempt from the "luxury tax" commercial motor vehicles used by small businesses exclusively for business purposes.
