1224 AN ACT CONCERNING INCREASED ACCESS TO CERTAIN CLUBS UNDER THE LIQUOR CONTROL ACT.

1426 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

1628 Section 1. Section 30-24b of the general statutes is repealed and the following is substituted in lieu thereof (Effective July 1, 2017):

18-(a) Auxiliary members who are spouses of members or surviving spouses of former deceased members of any club [which] that holds a permit under the provisions of this chapter may be allowed to participate in all the privileges of such club [,] by vote of such club members and shall not be considered guests for purposes of the general statutes or regulations of the Department of Consumer Protection.

20-(b) Children or grandchildren of any member or former deceased member of any club that holds a permit under the provisions of this chapter, which children or grandchildren are members of a nationally chartered veterans' service organization affiliated with such club, may be allowed to participate in all the privileges of such club by vote of such club members and shall not be considered guests for purposes of the general statutes or regulations of the Department of Consumer Protection.
