AN ACT CONCERNING TECHNICAL CORRECTIONS TO THE GENERAL STATUTES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

Section 1. Section 1-353a of the general statutes is repealed and the following is substituted in lieu thereof (Effective October 1, 2017):

Sections 1-350 to 1-353b, inclusive, modify, limit, and supersede the federal Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act, 15 USC 7001 et seq., but do not modify, limit, or supersede Section 101(c) of that act, 15 USC 7001(c), or authorize electronic delivery of any of the notices described in Section [3(b)] 103(b) of that act, 15 USC 7003(b). 

Sec. 2. Subsection (e) of section 12-107f of the general statutes is repealed and the following is substituted in lieu thereof (Effective October 1, 2017):

(e) Failure to file an application for exemption within the time limit prescribed in subsection (c) of this section and in the manner and form prescribed in subsection (d) of this section shall be considered a waiver of the right to such exemption with respect to the current such assessment.

 


This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections:
