2424 AN ACT COMBATTING SEXUAL HARASSMENT AND SEXUAL ASSAULT.

2626 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

2828 That: (1) Increased appropriations be provided to the Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities to increase the availability of sexual harassment prevention, enforcement, investigation and training pursuant to chapter 814c of the general statutes, by (A) increasing commission oversight of required sexual harassment prevention training at state agencies and businesses in this state and expanding the availability of on-site training by commission personnel; and (B) expediting the investigation and disposition of sexual harassment complaints filed with the commission; and (2) section 54-211 of the general statutes be amended to raise the crime victim compensation limit in the case of a victim of sexual assault.
