AN ACT EXEMPTING CERTAIN BUILDING MATERIALS FROM THE SALES AND USE TAXES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That chapter 219 of the general statutes be amended to exempt from the sales and use taxes building materials that are used in connection with repairs of crumbling foundations of residential buildings.

Statement of Purpose: 

To exempt from the sales and use taxes building materials that are used in connection with repairs of crumbling foundations of residential buildings.
