AN ACT CREATING "TRICK OR TREAT DAY".

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

Section 1. (NEW) (Effective October 1, 2018) The last Saturday in October of each year shall be known as Trick or Treat Day, which day shall be observed in the municipalities of the state as the designated day for children to go trick-or-treating in the state in lieu of the thirty-first of October of each year.

Statement of Purpose: 

To create "Trick or Treat Day", to be observed the last Saturday in October of each year.
