AN ACT CONCERNING THE SOCIAL SECURITY BENEFITS 
EXEMPTION FROM THE PERSONAL INCOME TAX. 
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General 
Assembly convened: 
 
That section 12-701 of the general statutes be amended to eliminate 1 
the limits on taxpayers' federal adjusted gross income for Social 2 
Security benefits to be exempted from the personal income tax. 3 
Statement of Purpose:   
To eliminate the limits on taxpayers' federal adjusted gross income for 
Social Security benefits to be exempted from the personal income tax.
