AN ACT CONCERNING THE ALTERNATIVE EDUCATIONAL
OPPORTUNITY REQUIREMENT FOR EXPELLED STUDENTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 10-233o of the general statutes be amended to reduce 1
the requirement that local and regional boards of education provide 2
nine hundred hours of instructional time as part of the alternative 3
educational opportunity for expelled students. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To amend the amount of instructional time that school districts are
required to provide to students who have been expelled.
