AN ACT CONCERNING PERFORMANCE EVALUATIONS FOR
SUPERINTENDENTS OF SCHOOL DISTRICTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That chapter 166 of the general statutes be amended to require a 1
local or regional board of education to conduct performance 2
evaluations for the superintendent of schools employed by such board, 3
to submit the results of such performance evaluation in writing and to 4
make such results available to the public. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To ensure that performance evaluations for superintendents of schools
are completed in a transparent manner.
