AN ACT CREATING AN INCENTIVE GRANT PROGRAM FOR SCHOOL
DISTRICTS THAT REGIONALIZE SCHOOL TRANSPORTATION
SERVICES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That chapter 172 of the general statutes be amended to establish a 1
grant program to incentivize local and regional boards of education to 2
regionalize their school transportation services, including special 3
education transportation services. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To create an incentive grant program that provides funds for school
districts to regionalize school transportation services.
