AN ACT CREATING INCENTIVE GRANTS FOR SCHOOL DISTRICTS
THAT REGIONALIZE SCHOOL TRANSPORTATION SERVICES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That chapter 172 of the general statutes be amended to establish a 1
grant program to incentivize local and regional boards of education to 2
collaborate in the purchase of school vans and the regionalization of 3
other school transportation services. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To create an incentive grant program that provides funds for school
districts to purchase vans and regionalize school transportation
services.
