AN ACT ESTABLISHING A CREDIT AGAINST THE HOSPITALS TAX 
FOR HOSPITALS THAT MAKE BEDS AVAILABLE FOR OPIOID 
ADDICTION TREATMENT SERVICES. 
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General 
Assembly convened: 
 
That title 12 of the general statutes be amended to establish a pilot 1 
program to allow a credit against the tax imposed on hospitals under 2 
section 12-263q of the general statutes for hospitals that make beds 3 
available for the provisions of services to individuals suffering from 4 
opioid addiction.  5 
Statement of Purpose:   
To provide an incentive for hospitals to make beds available for the 
provision of services to individuals suffering from opioid addiction.
