AN ACT CONCERNING AN ASSET TEST FOR RECIPIENTS OF
SUPPLEMENTAL NUTRITION ASSISTANCE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 17b-105a of the general statutes be amended to limit 1
eligibility for supplemental nutrition assistance to households with 2
assets of five thousand dollars or less, excluding the value of a 3
principal residence and motor vehicle. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To limit eligibility for supplemental nutrition assistance to needy
persons with limited assets.
