AN ACT CONCERNING AN ASSET TEST FOR THE MEDICARE
SAVINGS PROGRAM.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 17b-256f of the general statutes be amended to 1
implement an asset test for eligibility for the Medicare Savings 2
Program. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To ensure that eligibility for the Medicare Savings Program is limited
to the most needy individuals.
