AN ACT CONCERNING DECEPTIVE ADVERTISING PRACTICES OF
LIMITED SERVICES PREGNANCY CENTERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit limited services 1
pregnancy centers from making or disseminating or causing to be 2
made or disseminated any statement concerning any pregnancy-3
related service or the provision of any pregnancy-related service (1) 4
that is false, misleading or deceptive or that a limited services 5
pregnancy center reasonably should know to be false, misleading or 6
deceptive, or (2) with the intent not to perform such pregnancy-related 7
service as advertised. 8
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit deceptive advertising practices by limited services
pregnancy centers.
