1818 AN ACT REQUIRING TESTING FOR CERTAIN PHARMACEUTICALS
1919 IN RESPONSE TO DRUG -RELATED DEATHS.
2020 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2121 Assembly convened:

2323 That the general statutes be amended to require the Office of the 1
2424 Chief Medical Examiner to (1) test, for a period not less than five years, 2
2525 any person whose death was drug -related for the presence of 3
2626 medications used to treat opioid use disorder in such person's system, 4
2727 and (2) make the results of such testing available to the Department of 5
2828 Public Health. 6
