AN ACT REQUIRING PHOTO IDENTIFICATION FOR PURCHASES
MADE WITH EBT CARDS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 17b of the general statutes be amended to require photo 1
identification to be presented by persons making purchases with 2
electronic benefit transfer (EBT) cards. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To reduce improper or fraudulent use of EBT cards.
