1818 AN ACT ESTABLISHING A HOME CANNING PERMIT.
1919 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2020 Assembly convened:

2222 That the general statutes be amended to establish a home canning 1
2323 permit that allows a person to produce canned goods in his or her 2
2424 home for sale directly to the consumer, provided the kitchen used to 3
2525 produce the canned goods shall be subject to inspection by the 4
2626 Department of Public Health and the total sale amount of such goods 5
2727 shall not exceed twenty-five thousand dollars annually. 6
2828 Statement of Purpose:
2929 To allow persons to produce home canned goods for sale.
