AN ACT CONCERNING THE CREATION OF A UNIFORM
APPLICATION PROCESS FOR CONTRACTS THAT INVOLVE
STUDENT DATA.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That chapter 170 of the general statutes be amended to create a 1
uniform application process between contractors and local or regional 2
boards of education for contracts that share or provide access to 3
student information, student records or student-generated content 4
with such contractor. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To reduce costs associated with the development of contracts between
boards of education and technology contractors.
