AN ACT PERMITTING UTILITY SERVICE VEHICLES TO TRAVEL THE
MERRITT AND WILBUR CROSS PARKWAYS WHEN RESPONDING
TO EMERGENCIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That subsection (f) of section 13a-26 of the general statutes be 1
amended to permit a utility service vehicle, as defined in 49 CFR 2
Section 395.2, to travel the Merritt and Wilbur Cross Parkways when 3
responding to an emergency situation. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To permit utility service vehicles to travel the Merritt and Wilbur Cross
Parkways while responding to emergencies.
