AN ACT CONCERNING THE REGULATION OF RUNNING BAMBOO.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 22a-381e of the general statutes be amended to increase 1
the penalty for violating restrictions on the planting of running 2
bamboo, increase the distance from property lines that such bamboo 3
may be planted and to require property owners who have bamboo that 4
violates such setback requirements to remove such bamboo. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To strengthen the regulation of running bamboo.
