AN ACT CONCERNING INEQUITABLE METHADONE MAINTENANCE
REIMBURSEMENT RATES UNDER THE MEDICAID PROGRAM.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 17b of the general statutes be amended to require the 1
Commissioner of Social Services to establish a uniform reimbursement 2
rate of ninety dollars per week for methadone maintenance treatment 3
under the Medicaid program. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To reduce the inequitable methadone maintenance rates under the
Medicaid program.
