AN ACT CONCERNING A CRIME VICTIM'S PARTICIPATORY RIGHTS IN A VIOLATION OF PROBATION HEARING. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That section 53a-32 of the general statutes be amended to afford a 1 crime victim the same participatory rights in a hearing concerning a 2 violation of probation that he or she is afforded in a hearing 3 concerning early termination of probation pursuant to section 53a-29 4 of the general statutes. 5 Statement of Purpose: To ensure that a crime victim has participatory rights in any hearing concerning a violation of probation by the person who committed the criminal act.
