AN ACT CONCERNING IDENTITY THEFT VICTIM ACCESS TO
RECORDS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 54-56e of the general statutes be amended to permit 1
victims of identity theft access to certain records that are sealed in the 2
case of an offender who has applied for the accelerated rehabilitation 3
pretrial program. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To grant the right to obtain certain information necessary to correct
identity theft matters to victims of identity theft.
