AN ACT EXEMPTING CERTAIN TANGIBLE PERSONAL PROPERTY
OWNED BY A BUSINESS FROM PROPERTY TAXATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 12-81 of the general statutes be amended to exempt 1
from the property tax any tangible personal property owned by a 2
business, provided the property is more than ten years old and was 3
originally valued at not more than one thousand dollars. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To provide tax relief to businesses.
