| 23 | 23 | That chapter 246 of the general statutes be amended to provide that 1 | |
| 24 | 24 | the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles shall issue "Save the Lakes" 2 | |
| 25 | 25 | commemorative number plates and that a fee shall be charged for the 3 | |
| 26 | 26 | issuance of such number plates that shall be in addition to the regular 4 | |
| 27 | 27 | fee or fees prescribed for the registration of a motor vehicle and that 5 | |
| 28 | 28 | shall be used to pay the administrative cost of issuing such number 6 | |
| 29 | 29 | plates and distributed to lake authorities in their efforts to combat 7 | |
