1818 AN ACT EXCLUDING CERTAIN ACTIVITIES FROM THE DEFINITION
1919 OF MASSAGE THERAPY.
2020 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General

2323 That section 20-206a of the general statutes be amended to revise the 1
2424 definition of massage therapy to exclude bodywork involving stroking 2
2525 of the hands, feet or ears or the use of touch, words and directed 3
2626 movement, including healing touch, therapeutic touch, mind-body 4
2727 centering, ortho-bionomy, traeger therapy, reflexology, polarity 5
2828 therapy, reiki, qigong, muscle activation techniques or other practices 6
2929 with the primary purpose of affecting energy systems of the human 7
3030 body. 8
