AN ACT ELIMINATING STATE TAXES THAT COST MORE TO
ADMINISTER THAN IS GAINED IN REVENUE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to eliminate state taxes costing 1
more for the state to collect in administrative costs than the state gains 2
in revenue received from the imposition of such taxes. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To eliminate state taxes costing more for the state to collect in
administrative costs than the state gains in revenue received from the
imposition of such taxes.
