AN ACT CONCERNING TREATMENT OR CARE PROVIDED BY
RELIGIOUS NONMEDICAL PROVIDERS UNDER HEALTH
INSURANCE POLICIES OR HEALTH BENEFIT PLANS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 38a of the general statutes be amended to provide that any 1
health insurance company, health care center, hospital service 2
corporation, medical service corporation or other entity may include 3
religious nonmedical providers as in-network providers. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To provide that any health insurance company, health care center,
hospital service corporation, medical service corporation or other
entity may include religious nonmedical providers as in-network
providers.
