AN ACT CONCERNING LARCENY COMMITTED AGAINST A PERSON
WITH AN INTELLECTUAL DISABILITY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 53a-123 of the general statutes be amended to include 1
persons with an intellectual disability on the list of victims for an 2
enhanced penalty. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To create an enhanced penalty when a person commits second degree
larceny by obtaining property by embezzlement, false pretenses, or
false promise against a person with an intellectual disability.
