AN ACT CONCERNING THE PREVAILING WAGE AND PUBLIC
WORKS PROJECTS FUNDED BY PRIVATE BEQUESTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 31-53 of the general statutes be amended to exempt 1
from the prevailing wage public works projects that are funded by up 2
to twenty million dollars in private bequests. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To encourage charitable giving for the benefit of public works projects.
