AN ACT CONCERNING THE REGISTRATION OF MOTOR VEHICLES
BY RESIDENTS WHO ENROLL A CHILD IN A PUBLIC SCHOOL.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 14-12 of the general statutes be amended to provide 1
that an individual who establishes residence and enrolls a child in a 2
public school in this state shall register all motor vehicles owned by the 3
individual not later than ten days after establishing such residence. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To require certain individuals to register their motor vehicles not later
than ten days after establishing residence in this state.
