AN ACT RAISING REIMBURSEMENT RATES FOR HOME HEALTH
CARE PROVIDERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 17b-242 of the general statutes be amended to increase 1
rates for home health care providers to allow more seniors to age in 2
place in their homes and avert much higher Medicaid costs for 3
institutionalization. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To maintain or increase the one hundred three million dollars the state
saves annually on averted institutionalization costs by adequately
reimbursing home health care providers.
