AN ACT CONCERNING CUTTING COSTS AND IMPROVING HEALTH
OUTCOMES BY PROVIDING MEDICAID REIMBURSEMENT FOR
HOME HEALTH TELEMONITORING.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 17b of the general statutes be amended to expand 1
Medicaid coverage for telehealth services to home health 2
telemonitoring to (1) improve health outcomes, and (2) reduce state 3
costs. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To improve health outcomes and reduce state costs by expanding
Medicaid coverage to include home health telemonitoring.
