AN ACT LOWERING THE AGE FOR PROPERTY TAX RELIEF FOR
ELDERLY PERSONS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 12-170v of the general statutes be amended to lower the 1
age of eligibility from seventy to sixty-five years of age for property tax 2
relief for elderly persons. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To increase the number of senior citizens eligible for property tax
relief.
