AN ACT CONCERNING COPAYMENTS FOR ULTRASOUND BREAST
CANCER SCREENINGS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That sections 38a-503 and 38a-530 of the general statutes be 1
amended to prohibit certain health insurance policies delivered, issued 2
for delivery, renewed, amended or continued in this state from 3
imposing copayments for ultrasound breast cancer screenings of dense 4
breast tissue. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit certain health insurance policies delivered, issued for
delivery, renewed, amended or continued in this state from imposing
copayments for ultrasound breast cancer screenings of dense breast
tissue.
