AN ACT EXPANDING ACCESS TO SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER
TREATMENT FACILITIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 19a of the general statutes be amended to prohibit licensed 1
substance abuse treatment facilities from limiting admission or 2
treatment only to persons currently under the influence of alcohol or 3
drugs. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To expand access to substance use disorder treatment facilities.
