AN ACT AUTHORIZING BONDS OF THE STATE FOR THE RAILROAD
MUSEUM OF NEW ENGLAND IN THOMASTON.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the State Bond Commission be empowered to authorize the 1
issuance of bonds of the state in accordance with section 3-20 of the 2
general statutes, in principal amounts not exceeding in the aggregate 3
1.5 million dollars, the proceeds of which shall be used by the 4
Department of Economic and Community Development for the 5
purpose of providing a grant-in-aid to the Railroad Museum of New 6
England in the town of Thomaston for construction and renovations to 7
the museum. 8
Statement of Purpose:
To provide funding to the Railroad Museum of New England in the
town of Thomaston for construction and renovations to the museum.
